I am getting so excited for you Tracy and only three more days until you tie the knot too girl.

That's right, Mary!! The excitement of him getting here sometimes overshadows the really important bits. :);)

Yes! Especially if you have to change terminals. But then, I'm the weirdo who likes Atlanta.

See, I find it simple. You recheck your bags, go out the doors, up an escalator and catch the train to the next terminal (3, in our case). Go to the security checkpoint on the FAR right (it almost is always nearly empty while the ones to the left are always crammed - I think people forget about the other ones!), then your gate.

God, Atlanta. Please shoot me if I ever have to go through there again. :dead:

I'm so happy that the time is finally here for you two! I feel all giddy remembering what I felt when David arrived almost 3 years ago as if it happened yesterday!

Best wishes and may this visa journey be the beginning of an even more wonderful journey together.

Thanks all! :)

I'm home now, spent about 30 mins on the phone with Chas. He sailed through immigration, customs, rechecking his bag & getting through security again. Had we known it would be like that, we would have booked him on an earlier flight to Nashville. But sod's law and all, we figured more time was better than less.

About 2 hours before I leave to go get him. (Miraculously, the flight is still on time!)

You've got me going all :wub: remembering how excited I was when I could finally call C. from JFK and say 'Guess what?? I'm heeeeeere!!!', and all the fidgety pacing I did around the departure lounge waiting the endless 3 hours (or whatever it was) for my connection! Oooooh, I've gone all giddy and goose-pimply with excitement on yer behalf, Tracy!! Soooo exciting!! :D
