Depends on how fast and accurate you reply with what the NVC ask you for.

If you get RFEs it will take longer.

About a year if you are on the ball!

K1 denied, K3/K4, CR-1/CR-2, AOS, ROC, Adoption, US citizenship and dual citizenship

!! ALL PAU!

And it may be as short as 4 months if you live abroad and can do direct consular filing with the embassy.

Of course even with DCF it is that short only if your spouse has all the required vaccinations, orders police reports right away and has all their passport/birth certificate/marriage certificate/divorce certificate and other papers on hand and in order.

Read the guides! It will give you a better idea for you particular situation and also answer the question of How to bring a US citizen spouse to the US.

It depends on the embassy, the Dominican Republic has a waiting line of about 2 years AFTER the NVC sends the case to the embassy.

I would look at other people's timelines who are going through your embassy AND service center to get an idea of how long it might take.

Well this is what im confused about...

When I applied for my husband he was living in Pakistan, and just about 2months ago.. he moved to Jordan because of a Job Transfer. Now I don't know weather this will slow down our process and make this more complicated or not. Has anyone had this kind of situation before? We are going to notify the NVC about this probarly in the DS-230

Indeed, you need to notify NVC about any domicile changes. Since the move was to another country, chances are your case would be forwarded to the consulate managing the cases for Jordan. Sure someone else will give you more precise details.

Best, L.
