Your local field office is the driving factor for I-751s, instead of the service center.

How is that, I don't understand ?.

Take my wife's case for example.  We filed her I-751 in March of 2019.  In May 2019, the status at the changed to "Case is ready to be scheduled for an interview".  The interview, at the local field office, was conducted in Dec 2022 (combo interview after filing an N-400).  Service Centers don't schedule and conduct interviews.  The local field office does.

So I'm assuming we don't need another interview.

Maybe...maybe not.  You might be waiting a long time.  Good luck.

Not yet, submitted inquiry 2 months ago and still shows Biometric reuse May 2021.

Sometimes, an N-400 is what it takes to push an I-751.  It is crazy, but that is the case.

Another school of thought warned against filling for N-400 when the I-751 is beyond 6 to 8 months. As expected longer delay.

Read my signature for personal experience:

Filed I-751 in March 2019

Filed N-400 in Aug 2022

I-751 and N-400 both approved on same day  in Dec 2022

Wife had Naturalization Certificate in hand in Jan 2023

Not if OP hasn't filed N400, which they haven't.  So its still dependent on the service center.
