Am I doing things properly? When my husband and I got married we were told all the proper forms to fill out, and then were told that we didnt need so many forms, that all we needed to do was to file the I-130 and once it was accepted we could file the K-3. I know its alot to ask, but we just want to be together and the fastest possible route is the one we wanna take. Being new to this I am just curious if we have filed properly.

I sent the I-130 and am waiting on the NOA so i can file the K-3. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks alot, it really helps to be able to talk to someone who is going thru the same stuff we are and that can show you what you need to have. Did it seem to take very long? We are goping to be together soon, but were not sure what kind of time frame this may take, some people seem to get things done alot faster.

The timeline will tell you aproximately the estimated time for the process , however is not accurate. For instance , VJ member , Pharmacist got aproved 4 months ahead of the September processing dates that is posted on USCIS.GOV and some members like UMHURD is still waiting for his NOA-2 of I-129F and his is dated 01-30-06 eventhough his form is sent to Chicago Lockbox and not California the timeline now days are not 100% accurate. For some reason , NBC is taking a while in approving I-129F's. and one more thing , I 've notice that Immigration process our petition in a lottery way, not to take the entusiasm of being with your spouse but to be patient.

Good luck
