In Form I-130, item number 22 asks which USCIS office the relative will be filing for Adjustment of Status. There is a space for City and State. Since, I'm sending everything to the Chicago Lockbox facility, do I put in Chicago, Illinois?

Also, another question: Can I pen down any fields that are not completely visible when typed? For example, in one of the time fields, I wanted to put "Present Time", but the entire 2 words don't fit in when I type. So, I just typed in "Present" and I'm wondering if I can write down "Time" with a pen. This is just an example, there are other such instances.

Thanks!

Swami.

The office you put in at 22 is your local office where your interview will take place.... yes you can add thind in pen...

make sure you file everything together in the same envelope and mail to Chicago...

Good Luck

Hello there,

I made a Mistake in I-130. On Question 22 I put down the consular name where my wife lives. But, my wife is not here yet.

We are wworking on K3 which is approved and at NVC-waiting to be sent to the consular.

The I-130 is also approved and it is also at NVC.

If I-130 gets to be processed before K3 everything should be OK, right? Because she is going to go to the interwiev there.

We go thru with K3 now and my wife comes here with K3 visa , then we follow up with allready approved I-130 would she have to go to the consulate it says in Question 22?

When she comes here with K3 and we just do AOS, Would that be no problem?

The bottom line question is :

Making that mistake in question 22 would interfere with anything at all?

Thank you very much

Don't worry about it. They're not going to reject your application because of that.
