I have been married for 1year and 6 months now, and my marriage is crombling. My husband doesnt regards me as nothing, he insulted me a lot, which i never speak back to him, and he is so controling. I dont have access to anything in the house. I am unhappy and sad everyday.

I love my husband so much when i met him, that i left all my friends and family and come to the states. I have a little girl with him, who is 14months old now. I dont work, but i go to school in the evening. Now my husband tells me to look for a job because i will be moving out of his house. My 2years green card will expire on december, but i have to file 3 months before it expire. Please can someone tell me what to do, because i am so confused right now. Please i need help.

It sounds like you will need to file for Removing Conditions on your own. Others here can advise better about how to proceed with that, but I just wanted to offer some encouragement.

There is help out there through organizations like Catholic Charities and other (check the website of your local USCIS office for agencies in your area that can offer you guidance at low or no cost). And you may want to find out about divorce laws, too. I think here in Virginia, it takes a year to get a divorce if there are children involved... your state may be different, and the timing of a divorce may impact what you do regarding immigration.

You have the best kind of evidence that you entered the marriage in good faith (your daughter!), and the process is do-able... you will get through this.

You have my sympathy and I wish you and your daughter a safe journey to a 10 year green card, if that's what you want.

Best wishes,

Maya

Thank you so much i really do appreciate your advice. I am going to do what you suggest. I even call the USCIS this morning, and ask them what i need to do since my husband is asking me to move out. And i was told to file for the removal condition since our marriage will be 2 years in September. I need to ask one question? do i need a sponsor? like affidavit of support.

nope, your husband is still your sponsor, even if he doesnt want to be anymore. you're fine :)

and, if you file for a divorce, you need to file for removal of conditions RIGHT when you get the divorce papers.
