My mom will be a Joint Sponsor for my wife and she is filling out I-864. We have a few questions.

Questions 1:  (Part 1: 1.d)  I am the only joint sponsor.

My mom and I are both filling out I-864. However, I will not submit her I-864 until the interview. This is just incase in the interview they ask for a joint sponsor. Long story short, I've talked with people where to Embassy officer asked for a joint sponsor even though they fulfilled the requirements. My wife and I have have enough liquid assets about 400K+ in USD. My question is, which checkbox should my mom check, 1.d I am the only join sponsor or 1.e second of two join sponsor?

Question 2: Part 5: Sponsor's Household Size.

My mom is single and lives alone in the United States. The pdf automatically put for Provide the number you entered in Part 3., Item Number 29 and1 for Yourself. So the total is 2. Is that correct that the household size is 2? My wife and I are still living in South Korea.

Question 3: Sponsor's Employment and Income. Part 7. My current individual annual income is:

Does my mom need to put what her income was for the year 2022 in her current job?

Question 4: 24.a to 24.c Tax year and Total Income

My mom didn't submit her tax year for 2022, but she will soon in a day or two. Can she put Most Recent tax year as 2022?

The other question. For Total Income. Does she put the numbers from her income tax from her 1040 line number 9 where it says "Add lines 1z to 8. This is your total income"?

Thank you to anyone who can help me.

Your mother is the only joint sponsor

Your single living alone mother's household would be two.  Her and your spouse.  You would not be in her household in this context.

No.  She takes the gross pay from a full pay period from her current job and multiplies it by the number of pay periods in a whole year.  Paid every two weeks is times 26.  2022 is not current.  It's the past.

In the tax section, she enters the number in the line called "total income".

So I'm guessing that since both my mom and I are filling out each a I-864. Both of us has to select "I am the only joint sponsor"?

Okay. I get it. I believe this is what it meant in the instructions "Add together the number of persons for whom you are financially responsible. Some of these persons may not be residing with you".

So I'm guessing if my mom makes $2500 bi-weekly. I would times that by 26 which is $65,000. So I would put $65,000 in "My current individual annual income is"?

You are the petitioner, not a joint sponsor.  Otherwise, you seem to understand perfectly.
