Hi,

So, I am getting ready to file I-130, and wanted to know what and how much documents were needed. I am looking the list of stuff to submit but I have seen binders full of stuff, but I just don't have that.

Honestly, I don't have much, some photos, our lease and some minor documents. We are not super religious so we didn't do a big ceremony or rings. So, wondering what is best to do.

I also have a gap on visa, I stopped going to school after the marriage, it was during covid, so about a year. Any insight is appreciated.

Sounds like you’re doing AOS so make sure you include I-485, I-765, and I-131 with your submission.

moving to AOS from student, tourist, or work visa.
