Senior Master Sergeant, US Air Force- Retired (after 20+ years)- Missile Systems Maintenance & Titan 2 ICBM Launch Crew Duty (200+ Alert tours)

Registered Nurse- Retired- I practiced in the areas of Labor & Delivery, Home Health, Adolescent Psych, & Adult Psych.

IT Professional- Retired- Web Site Design, Hardware Maintenance, Compound Pharmacy Software Trainer, On-site go live support, Database Manager, App Designer.

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

Those numbers are assigned at NVC, not USCIS.   NVC will give you the DOS case number.

USCIS will automatically send the case to NVC.  NVC will assign a DOS case number, inform you, then send to the consulate when they (the consulate) requests it.

The only thing you can do is to check the USCIS status until NVC gives you the DOS case number.  USCIS automatically sends I-129fs to NVC. It might take a short while.

I just check now and this is appears Your case status is unavailable at this time. We are working to get you accurate information as soon as possible.

 

on case history is shows this

You can send an inquiry to NVC to ask if they have received your petition yet from USCIS. https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/visa-information-resources/ask-nvc.html
