My fiance had his K-1 approved. We are leaving from Bangkok to the US on April 13th.

Other than the K-1 visa stamp on his passport, what else does he need to bring with him to customs when he gets to the US? We are going through SFO.

IME, going from Bangkok with my fiancée on her K-1, at Bangkok and at the airport where you  connect (BKK has no non stops to the U.S. afaik), your fiancé will need to know the address in the U.S. where he will be living. This address should match the address you listed on the I-129F

Address in the United States Where Your Beneficiary Intends to Live”

We also entered at SFO. We avoided a secondary, possibly because I stayed with the fiancée the entire time at the airport and we used the visitor line.

Did he get an envelope marked "DO NOT OPEN" along with his passport with K1 visa?  If so, he will need to submit that unopened envelope to the CBP officer at POE.
