Interview Preparation checklist

We are preparing for the interview soon and we had a few questions. We are planning to take everything we submitted to USCIS and NVC, originals and photocopies of everything. My wife will probably take about 2 large tabbed folders worth of documents. I'm expecting about 100+ pages categorized in the folder.

1) Do these documents need to be printed in color?

The specific documents are:

  1. I-864EZ
  2. DS-260 confirmation page
  3. Interview Letter email
  4. Photo Album
  5. COVID Vaccine Certificate
  6. IRS Tax Transcripts
  7. W2
  8. 1 Year of Paystubs
  9. Photocopy of Biometric page on Passport
  10. Marriage Certificate
  11. Police Clearance Certificate
  12. Birth Certificate with English Translation
  13. 6 Passport Photos

No

Expect the first “check station” to request you to separate out the documents listed on your consulate interview instructions and hand you back all the rest. They only want what they listed on their information sheet

Okay, I will have a "main" folder with only the Consulate requested documents and another folder with backup information.

Just to verify, you are saying none of these documents need to be printed in color right?

nothing from medical but still have to pay immigrant fee

How much is it and where or when do you pay it? My wife's country is in a currency and economic crisis and debit/credit cards have daily limits, I just want to make sure she is able to pay it without issues. If it's payable online, I'd like to go ahead and pay it.

$220 usd. It is an online payment. Once she has her visa in hand she can give you the required data to enable you to pay it on her behalf
