Hello everyone,
My fiancé filed his taxes on Feb 2nd and we still do not have the 2022 tax transcript. I have received package 3 from the US embassy in Madrid where they ask me for the most recent tax transcript, however, the most recent one we have would be 2021.
In 2021 my fiancé was not working for his current company. He has been working there since January 2022. In both companies he exceeded poverty lines.
All we can do is submit the tax transcript for 2021, W2 for 2022, plus pay stubs for the last few months and the welcome letter from his current company stating the annual salary.
Do you think this is enough or do you recommend us to wait for the 2022 tax transcript?

For 2022, you need a copy of the return along with the W2(s)/1099(s).

2022 tax return evidence should not be required if the interview is before April 15.

 

However, if the 2022 tax return is available, as in your case, then bring/submit it.  Copies of the 1040 and related W2's and 1099's.
