Hi there, decided to post directly on the Ph region a few questions i have.

Long story short,
I-129F filled on 2019
I-129F approved on 2020
NVC Case number on Apr 2020
Manila embassy notification (ok to schedule interview) Apr 2022

Right now, we filled the DS-160 and created the profile on USTRAVELDOCS.COM but we are stuck here.

Questions.

1- According to the information i have gathered from VJ, we are on the right path and the next things to do are.

  • Pay Visa fee
  • Schedule Interview
  • Pay and schedule Medical examination to at least a week prior the interview date.

If this correct?

2- When we go to https://www.ustraveldocs.com/ph/ph-niv-bancnetonlinepayment.asp we are given a different reference number every time we load the page(see attachment), is this number really important? or even if is being pay in person at a RCBC branch?
also note that when this number is given, there is no way for us to tell if we are logged into our ustraveldocs account, as it dont show .

3- We are planning to schedule everything for June as is the month that ill be visiting, if i pay the visa fee now, does it expires? if so in how long?

4- Im(petitioner) planning to go to Philippines for 15 days to be with my fiance for the medical examination, the interview and if everything goes ok, the delivery of the actual visa, will this be enough time?.

5- Once the Visa is approved, how long is this good for? (My fiance will like to give a heads-up to her current employer so that they can find and train her replacement)

Thanks for all your help.

I think I know the answers to number 2, 3, and 5.

2) the number changes because it needs to be unique. When you pay the fee referencing that number, they can check to see if that number has had the fees paid.

3) I don’t think 15 days is enough in my opinion. I’ve heard it can take at least a week to get the passport back from the embassy. I’m going to be doing the same thing you are and I’m allowing for my visit to be somewhere between three weeks to five weeks.

5) if the question you’re asking is how long the K-1 visa is valid I believe it is valid for six months beyond the date of issue.

I hope this helps and please understand I’m going for memory on most of this

I was about to say that my fiancé paid it in person. As you are about to do, we simply printed off a deposit slip off the site and she took it to the nearest RBC branch location. All of the instructions on how to do it is printed on the form, so as long as you follow the steps on there you should be good to go. After she paid the fee, I logged in to her account on the to attempt to set our appointment. Note that part of the process to sign up for the appointment includes updating your beneficiary's profile which includes a part about them paying their MRV fee. This is validated by you entering the receipt number printed on the deposit slip & the system checking to see if the fee was paid. This took a day or two before the website validated her payment. After that, you should be able to grab the next available appointment (currently mid-June of 2023).

Keep in mind that when she goes in for the medical she could get flagged for sputum testing. That will delay the process and you will need to reschedule your interview for after that process is complete.
