Forgive me if there's already a "getting to know you" topic, but I'm totally unfamiliar with this new community. Who here would consider themselves (or who do you consider to be) the community's "immigration gurus," so to speak? Lawyers, law students, or those who're bona fide from-experience battle-scarred immigration veterans?

Threads on immigration forums can get loads of responses, but whose responses do you you generally find most reliable, insightful, or valuable here at the VJ forums?

It is always noted by our most experienced members that in complicated cases, you should always consult an experienced immigration attorney. Now, my favorites for some questions are:

zyggy

kitkat

YuandDan

Yodrak

and likely some others I can't recall right now!!!

p.s. excellent post, by the way!

Yodrak's responses make you think. He doesn't spoon feed, that's much more valuable than the people who try to 'guess' what you want and spoon feed info.

Anyone remember Andy? He was another one.

Yodrak is a male, AFAIK (since he has mentioned his wife a number of times) and a very wise person, IMHO.

aussiewench,

It will? The big red number on my wife's visa is in error, or a mistake?

Oh well, she gave the Control Number as her visa number. Good thing she didn't use that big red number that did not start with an 'A'.

Yodrak

and will start with an A

I'm a friendly, easy-going, lovable guy.
