Oh I see. No worries, thank you for actually sharing on your journey (your wife and you are one 😃). Unless you like discussing politics, then no, it doesn’t mean you should know all that stuff. However, it’s a good experience to challenge one’s knowledge.

Thanks for the link, I’ll check it out. I’m  using online versions of the test (any version I find to be interesting). We all got this!

@Audyam -- the online study guide is great! My husband looked at it every few days (and then we did walks where I quizzed him). We are both US history experts now 😆

(After he passed... I had him quiz me over his celebratory lunch)

Oh woow this is awesome 😄! Support is everything! I’ll print a few online study guides so I can take them everywhere with me to study. This is encouraging!

Thanks.

You're welcome.  I'm guessing now that one of reasons things are moving so quickly for us is that we don't have to deal with adjustment of status.

Yes, you are right. Your case was extremely easy for them to make a decsion on. Most people, including myself, are still dealing with ROC, which surely increases scrtiny levels and hence the timeline for the officer dealing with N400.

Kristin, I read your naturalization review via the link in your signature. It's very well written, descrptive, and informative. Thanks for sharing with us. Is the oath ceremony usually done the same day after N400 interview is successfull?

Hi guys! Im not sure if this is the right page for my question but it is n400 related 😊

I acquired my green card on Nov 18, 2021. Husband was a USC. My question is, when am I eligible to apply for citizenship? I know the 3 yr rule applies to me but is it Nov 2023 or Nov 2024?

Thanks!

Thanks!

November 2024 if you're still married and living in marital union at time of filing and until oath ceremony. Also can file 90 days earlier before 3 years anniversary of being LPR.

@R_3 -- glad you found the review helpful! From what I've read and can tell based on other reviews, unfortunately, not all places do the oath ceremony the same day. Sometimes it's actually "scheduled" and you have to come back... we were lucky that for Santa Ana, they do same-day!
