Hello everyone, I came to the US on a K1 visa and got married and I am about to file AOS. I didn't know I could get my SSN even before getting married, I thought I needed the certificate.   Now that I have my marriage certificate, I am out of status according to my i-94. So I want to know how to go about getting the SSN. Is there a way to apply for it while filing for AOS?

I will appreciate any help. Thank you!

Unfortunately, there isn’t. You will have to wait until you either receive an EAD or a GC.

Uuuurgh... Thank you. I was thinking the SSN might be processed faster than the EAD
