Form I765 was rejected as part of AoS Packet. Should I send in New Fee?

We submitted all 3 forms together - i485, i131, and i765 for the marriage based AoS from k1 visa. We made a mistake on my i765 (forgot to add a few pages of the EAD application). What is confusing is that we submitted the fee ($1225), which I understood was the correct amount for all three applications i765, 131, and 485 but in the letter they stated that the fee amount was incorrect as well. But they already charged the card for the full $1225 amount.

All I'm really trying to figure out is if the fee is going to be refunded or not so I can figure out if I should send it in the mail along with the corrected packet I'm preparing to send. They state in the letter that "Your I765, fees, and any supporting documentation is being returned to you for the following reasons..."  and I always understood that USCIS basically never does refunds.

But I just want to send in the corrected form as soon as possible and I need to know if I should include a fee amount if I already paid and nothing seems to be wrong with my other two forms (so far, but It has been about a month now and still no receipt letter in the mail.) And if so, what fee amount should I include? Will it be less than the $1225 because they don't specify.

If you forgot few pages on i-765 that is the problem, just send the complete form and no fee.

i-765 is free when file aos for k1.

1225 if for i-485 and biometric.
