Hello all,

I filed for I-485 and I-130 in May 22 out of Ohio where I lived with my wife. I recently moved out of Ohio due to work while my wife is still living at the place I filed from. Should I report the change of address to USCIS?

Thanks!

Is your move permanent?  Yes.  Are you on a temporary job assignment?  No

Example:  I worked in Saudi for 4 years.  My address with my property, vehicles, banking, drivers license, credit cards, insurance was in Texas.  My USCIS address was in Texas.  When we got back we leased another address, switched it over, and I updated my address with USCIS.

Okay, my move to GA is permanent but my wife is still at the old address that is submitted to Ohio. Since she doesn't plan on moving out of OH until later this year I was thinking about keeping OH as my home address with USCIS since moving states might delay my case.

If your move is permanent you should update your address
