Application is expedited to post

I am petitioning my mother here to USA from the Philippines. She received an email from nvc saying her application was expedited to post even though we didn't request for it. our application is documentarily completed and just waiting for interview also. its been almost a year of waiting since we finish all docus, so i am quite static of this update. I checked her application, and it says its currently in manila embassy. is anyone else had the same experience? if yes how long did it take for embassy to schedule your appointment? thank you!

If the case was expedited, then the US embassy in Manila typically expects the applicant to self-schedule their interview via the USTravelDocs portal once CEAC case status turns "Ready".  Check the thread below for details --
