Please what are the next steps after 212(a)(9)(b). My ineligibility will expire in December. I triggered a 10 year bar after I voluntarily left with my family in 2013, they were with me for the most part before they left and now want to desperately re-unite with them.

What visa are you applying for?

Immigration journey is not: fast, for the faint at heart, easy, cheap, for the impatient nor right away. If more than 50% of this applies to you, best get off the bus.

Sorry already went for my interview, i-130 approved and all. But was found ineligible for overstaying which I expected. However ineligibility expires in Dec. Interview went pretty well but was sent an email stating I was ineligible under 212(a)(9)(b)(ii)

So you did not apply for a waiver for the inadmissibility?

Were you not aware? Presumably you were offered the opportunity to file a waiver, may be more logical to wait

I assume if no waiver was applied for, the petition will be returned to USCIS.

I was aware but just because we started filing close the expiration we didn't think there was a need for a waiver considering the timeline of getting one approved

was thinking of writing a request to hold my application in abeyance for me to be able to reschedule an interview in December

I read it as K-1. Yes, I-30s don't die.
