Looking for someone with a very similar situation as this.

Friend lives in PA and her fiance is from the UK.

For those of you who live in the area she lives (aka her processing center)

How long did it take?

I'm talking about from when you filed, to when you got the visa allowing your fiance to come in so y'all could get married???

Any help??

oh and what processing center would she be mailing everything to if she lives in Harrisburg, PA

Thanks guys! Everyone was so much help on here when I was going through my AOS with my husband and I totally recommend this site to all my friends with any immigration questions!

Click on the link above that says "immigration timelines" - that's as good as it gets based on member reported data. It's better than the government's somewhat fake "processing times" official website.

Your friend needs to READ THE INSTRUCTIONS on the I-129F - www.uscis.gov.

Your friend will not get through this process without sitting down to do her homework and spend some quality hours reading and learning. It doesn't take long, but it does take some effort. Where to mail things is a very simple thing she'll learn super fast by checking out the instructions.

The guides here on VJ are useful as well - before and after SHE'S READ THE INSTRUCTIONS!

p.s. overall timeline depends a lot on individual cases and the country of the benficiary. we're a UK/US couple and it will have taken 6 months and 14 days between mailing the petition and his entering the country. It took us some extra time to get the NOA2 and we got through the Embassy, in the end, a bit faster than some, not as fast as others. 7 months was the rule of thumb. But the processing centers are in flux now and the application fee is about to rise sharply. it's in your friend's best interest to get a move on . . . best of luck.
