I am currently on H1B visa, 6years completing after 2 months. My wife has approved I-140. I recently filed H4 COS and EAD ( I-539 and I-765) concurrently. My EAD form (I-765) was received and I got receipt number for that. 410$ was also charged on my credit card 4 days back.

Today, I got a form I-797C, Notice of Action stating ''Recently, you submitted an application for immigration benefits. That form was submitted with an extra remittance that is not required to process your application. Your check is being returned to you with this notice. No additional action by is required at this time''. Besides, I-797C doesn't indicate case type nor receipt number, instead saying in Notice Type ''Rejection Notice''. 370$ for H4 COS has not been charged to my credit card.

What does it mean? Is my H4 form rejected and EAD accepted? What do i need to do ?
