Have a question about tourist visa? I have like many of us have met a philippines woman online, its been 3 years since we met online, due to covid any plans for meeting got delayed for awhile, since things have settled down with restrictions we have tried to make plans to meet, but due to things on both our schedules we have not been able to meet yet. She has suggested that she comes to USA to meet me, the plan was for me to go there but as mentioned schedules, my work, life responsibilities we just have not been able to make a plan for me to go there that works for both of us. So she has suggested or offered to come here to USA.

So how can she come to USA for us to meet? What will she need? I believe a tourist visa? can she even get one?

Yes she needs a tourist visa, bit of a wait. All down to her to apply.

All you can do is see what happens

Thats what I thought she would need is a tourist visa,  you said it was a bit of a wait,  the us site I was on said for Manila"interview Required Visitors (B1/B2) 136 Calendar Days". I guess that gives some time for planning and all, but probably not booking any flights until knowing for sure that she is going to get the visa. Looks like your right she would have to apply and I am hoping she can do that, I have sent her some info about it but I am not sure what that process is like, what sorta info she needs or what might be something that would deny her getting a tourist visa.

You said might be able to get it? I know its not for certain a person is given a tourist visa. But what sorta things would make them deny her? You said strong ties to her country? how does she show that? I know her entire family, parents, sister, aunts, uncles, etc are there, she lives with family, currently not working as she was OFW, but is helping family at family business. Sounds like this tourist visa is possible for her to come here to meet me instead of me going there, than at least we have that part of things satisfied for perhaps the K1.

Not having a stable job, not having property, no bank accounts, not having international travel history that proves that she returns to the Philippines, being single and of a young marrying age…

Well she certainly has a few things going against her on that list, she has no job, just helps family out, does not have property, probably has no bank accounts, she has been a OFW a few times so has returned home from those job contracts. She is of course single, and mid 30s. So not sure with this info what her chances are of getting a tourist visa?

How old are you?

I mean, if she has the extra money she can of course apply and see what happens.

You said you can’t go to Philippines because of your commitments, but what are you going to do while she’s visiting here? Is she going to be mostly by herself?

OP, looking at your story she already asked you in 2021 if you’d support her financially. What did you say to that? People were telling you to RUN:

I’m not a CO but most likely she won’t get it.

no strong ties, mid 30s with no job, being Philippino, has an interest to come to USA to be with you..

she asked you for support even before you meet! Are you going to pay for the visa? It’s 160$ plus you will have to pay for the ticket and fund her trip to USA.

After reading the comments back and forth, it seems not it is not a viable option.  If you are serious about a relationship,  I think you will need to take a 10 day vacation and go visit her.  Then you have a choice, if you want to proceed,  you can file for a fiancee visa, or get married there and file for a spousal visa. Both takes a long time but the spousal visa (as I've read in the past) may be the longer but easier path.  Either way, it will run thousands over the next few years.
