Hello all

i was just wondering has anybody shipped a car over seas

And if you have who did you use and how much did it cost i have been quoted 2000,00

to ship one of my cars so far but that is just to one POE i still have to get it to ethiopia

I could drive it from djibouti to addis but the roads arent that great

Another thing to keep in mind if you want to ship your car over is whether or not it meets US safety guidelines.. My car didn't, so I was unable to take it here from Canada...

The car is going from The US to africa as i will be leaving the car there

so it does not have to meet US guide lines

By definition people on here a re coming into the US.

My assumption is that your main cost will be local duty/backhanders, probably the same thing.

$2,000 for shipping sounds about right.
