Good morning guys,

We filed for ROC on 10/29/2021 and still says that case is processing, we have also been waved Biometric appt. I was wondering is that normal ? we filed from Rochester NY.
My other question is that, we might move to florida soon because of better job and cheaper living, Will that affect our case status, will that cause any delays or have us pay any fees or EVEN WORSE ! RE APPLY ?

What service center is processing your application (the first three letters of your case number will tell you this)? If you update your timeline it will make it easier for folks to advise.

This is normal in terms of processing window for many service centers at present - hence the newly updated 48 month extension letters. If you move, you will need to file for change of address. Many folks recommend doing it both using the online form and mailing in a change of address form. You will not need to pay to do this.

the first letters are EAC ! , Also in the interview do we both need to be present or can it just be me ? she might not be there for medical reasons.

That's the Vermont processing center - current processing time is showing as 19 months. If you are required to attend an interview and you filed jointly (not with a divorce waiver) you will both need to attend.

Floridian here.

Cheaper living, you're joking right? In terms of if it'll have any effect, if you need to do an interview, expect long delays in most of the Florida offices. I live in Central FL and I've been waiting 28 months.

I don’t know about Central Florida but South Florida is fast how it could be.

I applied to I-751 from North Carolina, through 6 months we came back to Florida and applied N-400 2 months ago.

Last Friday I got interview notice N-400 (60 days from  applying ),

on Monday I had notice about my ROC moving to another location and today I got paper letter(2 days) about my interview date. It will be combo with N-400.

My first Green card I got less than 5,5 months ( including 2 RFE) in Florida too( Miami)

Florida is not chipper now than New York!

Is your N400 interview still after your 3yrs as a permanent resident anniversary? This is the fastest I've ever heard!
