As long as you're still married, living in marital union and you satisfy all other requirements (physical presence, continuous residence etc) you can file 90 days early.

I filed on February 22nd for I-751 and, on March 10th, I received the notice that my fingerprint had been reused. But as of today, still no updates.

ROC Timeline:

2023-02-20: Mailed package to Phoenix Lockbox with UPS Ground

2023-02-27: Package was delivered

2023-03-02: Received text that case was received with SRC case #

2023-03-03: Money order was cashed

2023-03-09: Received 48 months extension letter in mail

2023-05-20: Greencard expired

2024-10-04: Case Was Updated To Show Fingerprints Were Taken

2024-10-07: New Card Is Being Produced

I am here with you. 266 days my ROC application status is still the same as "Case was received". I will be eligible to apply for citizenship in less than 60 days and this makes me joyful. I have heard that a lot of people have no updates on their removal of conditions applications up until citizenship interview and then approved for both. According to Visa Journey timelines citizenship process takes 3-6 months these days.

I'd definitely apply when eligible. Be aware of such cases though:

Hello everyone. I filed i751 in February 2023 and by this day there is no update. I just received the receipt notices. But nothing was heard about fingerprints being reused or fingerprint appointment notices. Is it normal? Is anyone in the same boat?

Yes this is normal. Plenty of people who filed in February 2022 have received no updates.

100% normal.  We filed wife's I-751 in March 2019.  Wife got "case is ready for an interview to be scheduled" in May of 2019......No updates until approval in December 2022 after a combo interview.

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

Happy New Year everyone! I am in the same boat and haven't heard anything since March. The ink on my extension letter is coming off slowly, and I am ready to get the new Greencard haha. I do not plan on applying for citizenship so I will have to be patient ;)
