Petitioning biological daughter in the US [merged threads]

Hello everyone,

 My mom is a permanent resident and just waiting for her us citizenship. My question is, Can my mom petition her biological daughter that was not legally adopted when she was young. She wanted to bring my sister in the US but her last name wasn’t the same as my mom because she was adopted but not legally of my cousin. Can anyone here give us advice. Thank you.

Who is listed on the daughter's birth certificate as her mother?  How old is the daughter and is she from the Philippines?

The person that was listed on my sister birthcertificate is my cousin, she is 18 years old now. And she was not leggaly adopt. Can my do something about her case? She went back to us and currently living with us now.

So, your cousin wanted to adopt your sister some years ago but it never materialized? Am I understanding this correctly?

No, my mom is planning to petition my younger sister. She was adopted when she was a baby. And she went back to us when she turn 17. Now, my mom was planning to petition her but her name was not under my family name.

If it gets recorded as a late registration of birth,

My mom is applying for US Citizenship this year, she was planning to petition my younger brother who is under 18 years old. Can she file for his petition now while she’s a permanent resident or is it better to wait to file for his petition when she my mom become a US Citizenship?

So you want us to help you untangle the mess? Why did she return now that mom became LPR? Why wasn't she adopted as was planned? Seems your family fell out with whoever USC family member that was supposed to "adopt her" so as to come to US. Adoption was a game to get her to US. 

 

We also know why the birth certificate doesn't have your mom's name. It's all in preparation so that she could then get adopted later, come to US,  become USC, reestablish link with her real family (you guys), then start chain migration.  

 

We've seen this adoption story/ one parent name on BC / no parent name on BC multiple times, and it's always from the Philippines yet when I call this out early, I get told I'm negative. 

 

Sorry, this is immigration fraud.
