RFE mailing procedure

Hi all!

Any tips for the actual mailing process for an RFE

I’ve noticed they’ve provided a return envelope but I feel this will be too small for what I’m sending.

Is it acceptable to use a standard a4 size envelope instead?

The RFE is for the 2 year meeting requirement so I’m hoping exit stamps in the passport and a few other bits will be okay.

Kind regards,

Marc

USPS Priority Mail-  The envelopes are large....and you will be able to track it.

When I got mine I also sent them extra proof of our ongoing relationship. I put it in a separated envelope and I wrote something like "Please forward this to the embassy as extra evidence of out ongoing relationship". My case got approved about two weeks after they received it. I sent it USPS priority and it took about two days to get there.

A4..Are you in the US or abroad?  There have been reports of bottom parts being cut off on A4 paper when it is scanned.

Either USPS Priority envelop or standard 9"x12" manila envelop would work for letter size paper.
