HI EVERYONE

after getting an EMAIL from NVC for us to send i-864 form... we are not going to wait till the packet arrives ; my wife now is intending to send the I-864 form with documents tomorow yet i read that "barcode cover sheet" to be returned "with i-864 form....

is that barcode cover sheet necessary to be sent back or i dont have to worry about it and thus send i-864 with documents? what shall we do here?

"required" is an absolute term-there's no such thing as sort of required. you'll loose more time by not sending the coversheet than you'll gain by sending everything a day or two earlier. if they don't just REF you for it-that will cost you weeks. you could try Jame's shortcuts to generate your own barcode sheet.

4/1/04 no word from NE contacted senators office, app found

NOA1 4/13/04

Gave up on ridiculously long US process-started Canadian

12/4/04 submitted app

LSS app returned because of missed signatures, lost in transit, resubmitted in June

9/28/05 landed, yippie

10/4/05 fly back to US to "finish up Master's" lose mind and switch to PhD

Damn it back to the US process

3/something/2005 finally get NOA2, no idea why it took so long

4/15/07 get case approval from NVC

8/9/07 Montreal here we come

10/14/07 hubby activated his visa

Go to the NVC part of this forum and read the 'shortcuts' thread there.

Look specifically at page 10/11 for the latest version of James' Shortcuts.

It explains lots of things about barcodes and how to self-generate them. You'll know just about everything you need to know.

5/29/2009 - Filing I-751 Removal of conditions

6/01/2009 - CSC received I-751

6/04/2009 - check cashed (fast!)

6/08/2009 - received I-797C (receipt date 6/01)

6/22/2009 - received Biometrics Appt. Notice

7/01/2009 - received rescheduled Appt. Notice

7/23/2009 - Biometr. Appt.

7/24/2009 - A touch, a touch!

8/20/2009 - APPROVED! Oh, glorious day!

8/25/2009 - Card production e-mail received

8/31/2009 - Card received. Error :(

9/05/2009 - Returned green card with evidence of error & I-90

9/16/2009 - received I-797C (receipt date 9/14)

10/27/2009 - Correct card issued

hi to everyone

i read and found that i can download the barcode cover sheet yet i am confused about the procedure ....my question is it enough to have that cover sheet and put mu case number then print it then inculude the paper with the i-864 form then send it to nvc or that needs more taht that ?

PLEASE WHO CAN HELP HERE THANKS
