Filing I129/K3 to speed up I130 approval

There are at least 2 members here who filed both an I130 and an I129f/k3 application to speed up approval of the I130. In both cases, they got their interviews months earlier than the standard I130 timeline.

My spouse to be has an 11 yr old daughter. I know we have to file a separate I130 for her, but do we need to file a separate 129f for her too?

Also, I've seen discussions here where a spouse's I130 was processed faster than her child's I130. Is there a way to request the 2 I130s be linked in some way and processed in a similar timeframe and subsequently request the interviews to happen concurrently?

I believe you do have to file a separate I129F for the child.  As to the second question, I am not aware of a way to connect the two applications, but when one reaches the NVC stage, you can delay it until the other one catches up.

K4 for the child

You believe incorrectly.  No second I-129F for the child, but you are correct that there is no way to connect the the two petitions.  What one hopes is the two I-130 petitions are already "connected".  They usually are when filed together on paper.  Not sure about what happens when they are filed online.

@pushbrk is it ok to mail 2 I130 applications together or would it be better to mail the mother's and daughter's separately?

Together, so they stay together.  Put two separate payments and two separate stacks in the same envelope.

I filed x 2 I-130 together for spouse and a minor child, both have receipt# from Nebraska center but later on they transferred one to Vermont and one to Potomac. Is there a way I can get both approval the same time?

I cannot speak to situations involving applications for children, but I can share my experience with filing a K3 after filing an I130. We originally filed our I130 in September 2021. We filed an I129f in December of the same year. Our I129f was rejected on February 9, 2022. The VERY NEXT DAY our I130 was approved by USCIS on February 10, 2022. Perhaps it was a coincidence, but I suspect not.
