My mother just got the interview date for the visa and one of the checklists says to bring an original or certified birth certificate for all children of the principal applicant, even if he or she is not accompanying. What does that mean?

Is it the petitioner birth certificate that was submitted to CEACS or it is asking for all children's birth certificates?

My other question is on the appointment letter says, you must present the original documents that is submitted to NVC for review by the consular office during your interview

does that mean the petitioner to send all  original  documents including petitioner birth certificate , Marriage certificate, naturalization …. Or Petitioner original birth certificate and  the rest scanned copy is fine ,

Thank you for your time!!

All birth certificates of all children of the person being interviewed for an immigration visa

Bring a photo copy of each so that she doesn’t surrender originals that can be hard to replace depending on the vital records authority.
