Do you receive a notice close to your 90-day window?

Hi all!

Quick question, I will send in my application to remove conditions when my 90-day window opens in late March, will I receive anything from USCIS before I file i.e. a letter/notice?

I had to change my address last year as we moved and for some reason USCIS does not like confirming my address when I ask, so just curious if I should be expecting something (or not, if my address never changed properly.)

Thanks!

You may get a reminder letter.

You need to ensure your address is up to date with USCIS, this may hurt you in the future if they send your I-751 notices to wrong address.

Send them certified mail with AR-11 form and have a copy of it. Call them to ensure it was updated.

Or if you’re like me, you’ve updated it, they’ve confirmed, and still send it to your old address.

I filed it online and got an email confirming the change. Last time I did it, it updated without issues but I would like to confirm so I know because I've heard of other people having issues.

That being said, I suppose that when I send in the I-765, they will get my new address regardless but I'm going to call to confirm with them to be on the safe side. Definitely don't want to miss any notices.

That's because a lot of USCIS letters are marked "return service requested". This means the letter would not be forwarded, but instead delivered back to USCIS.

This is what i thought as well, I had this happen during my application 2 years ago and they actually did forward it. I probably just got lucky.

They resent it, to the correct address, but then weirdly had removed the bottom tab that says "use this tab to speed up your application" and instead had a new bottom portion saying something about "ready to be filed" - I think confirming it was sent to the wrong address etc. Total clown show.

Alright, so I just called and spoke AND spoke with them via the chat and they basically said that they cannot see what my address is unless I have an active case which I don't since my I-485 was approved almost 2 years ago.

I guess I just have to wait until March and use my new address when I apply for removal of conditions? They might have changed it, but there doesn't really seem to be a way for me to confirm.

Hello this has been a question asked on many of the visa groups some people they do send a notice this can be by mail or as a message if you have a USCIS online account however no one can say how they distinguish who they will send the reminders to I would think it's something computer generated every so often and it picks cases at random jut make sure your address is always up to date.
