No option to upload affidavit of support on CEAC website

Hello,

My wife's visa was expedited after the I-130 was approved. The embassy asked us to upload civil documents and the affidavit of support the CEAC website.

The civil documents have been uploaded but the CEAC website is not showing any option to upload the affidavit of support. I am wondering if

this is an error. When I look in the documents section there is a tab that reads Affidavit of support but there is no link on the tab. The summary of information

page has not option to add AOS

Thanks

Sounds like a DCF case where you are dealing with the Consulate, not NVC.  Unless the Consulate asked you to upload the affidavit of support too, they want it brought to the interview.

Did you file the I-130 with USCIS?  Or directly with the consulate?

I filed with the USCIS. After I received I-130 approval, I got the NVC to expedite the case. Then the case went to the embassy without the need for NVC review.

So, perhaps, after that the process is more like a direct file? After I booked an interview at the embassy online, I got an email saying I must upload AOS and some other documents onto the CEAC website. However, I haven't been able to upload any petitioner documents. I am emailing the embassy but getting canned responses so far. As in, a pdf showing the instructions for uploading. It is possible that the AOS is just reviewed at the appointment, but the embassy hasn't indicated this. Very confusing!

Then your first email was incomplete.  You only mentioned a request to upload civil documents.  Why are you talking about "petitioner documents"?

What does that actual request say, exactly?

I asked this:

"Dear Sir/Madam, My wife has submitted civil documents but I see any option on the CEAC website to upload affidavit of support documents. There is a tab that reads "affidavit of support" that shows up in the document section of the website but there is not an active link on the tab. I am wondering how to submit the affidavit of support. I have attached a pdf of what I see when I log in to the CEAC web page. Thank you for your assistance."

We're having the same problem in uploading our AOS and financial documents. There is only the Applicant Information in our CEAC IV Summary Information and the Affidavit of Support ( Petitioner/ Sponsor) tab is missing. Just wanna ask what solution did you take to address the issue. Your response would be much appreciated. Thank you

I couldn’t get any helpful reply from embassy or anyone else. But we just brought all the documents to the embassy and it worked out. We also emailed them the docs and attached them in a different section on CEAC website. Not sure what the right thing to do is/ was. Most likely the embassy just needs the docs when you go in. Good luck!
