Does anyone here have experience with transferring a documentarily qualified CR1 case at the NVC to the UK consulate? If so, could you please share your experience in terms of documents required and specific timeline (transfer request to Interview if applicable). Thank you!

Hi All,

I cant seem to find information specific to CR1 cases that were transferred (from NVC) to London, so I wanted to start a conversation here.

Our interview location was just transferred to the London embassy. London is pretty up to date with interview scheduling, but I am not sure how they prioritize transferred cases. Does anyone have any idea when we can expect to get an interview letter? Please share your experience/timeline

Case: CR1

DQ: Aug 15 2022

Transfer: Jan 26 2023 (Lagos to London)

CEAC Status: At NVC
