No I-94 record?

Hi, I just arrived last week on the 11th on an IR1 Visa. Got it stamped and everything but wanted to now check I-94 just to satisfy my curiosity and it says "Record of Traveler not found".

I tried various spellings of my name, but nothing pops up. Any ideas what's wrong? What do I do?

How about the travel history?

You are an LPR and you can stay beyond the heat death of the universe.  Welcome home.

As for I-94 travel record, it’s been a hot mess for at least some LPRs for years.

Same thing, "no record found for traveler".

Thank you but how can I be sure that my entry has been recorded if I don't see it on the I-94? For all I know they might still think I'm outside the US and expect me to arrive before my IR1 expires in April?

Your passport’s IR-1 was stamped correct?

You are an LPR.  Matters not if CBP thinks otherwise. At any hypothetical removal trial you would  prevail. Make a complete electronic copy of your passport, and boarding passes, if this worries you.

Yes passport was stamped, thank you 😊 I always keep electronic copies of everything anyway!

I-94 is not applicable to you, as you are a resident now, not a visitor.

From https://i94.cbp.dhs.gov/ -- "A Form I-94 is needed by all visitors except: U.S. Citizens, returning resident aliens, aliens with immigrant visas, and most Canadian citizens visiting or in transit."

You’re not on an I94.  They know you arrived.

If helpful - for non-US residents.

When I first came in under K1, I was also looking for my i-94 and could not find it online (I needed it to submit AOS).

You have to contact them, let them know. I believe they were very efficient and I saw my i-94 on the site the next day/2 days later.
