I got the NVC Case # after contacting the NVC. I wanted to know if I can go ahead and fill out the DS-160 form and pay for it so I can schedule the interview. Or should I wait until my case says ‘ready’?

Hello, you need to wait until it says Ready and then you can do that.

Hello L&R46, Any update?

Hi. Since the DS-160 saves the information you put for 30 days we decided to fill it out, but not send it until our case says it’s “ready.” Our case is in “transit” so we are just waiting for it to say “ready” so we can submit it and pay the fee.

I think am having exact problem here... I got my application approved since January 5th also have fill out my DS-160 forms but each time I tried to schedule interview I was asked to provide the NVC number with DOS which I don't have... I will appreciate if anyone can assist me with means to contact NVC to request for my NVC number
