Change phone number for OTP so I can log in?

Hello,

I am in the middle of my ROC and have been for some time (thanks SRC). I have been dragging my feet with the n400 and tried to get things moving today, the only thing is I cannot log in to USCIS because my phone number has changed.

I called USCIS and went through a process of updating my number. The representative said he had entered the data but will be receiving a call from Tier 2 within the next 7 days and gave me a reference number, before I could ask any questions he hung up.

Is this a normal process?

Regards

Reed

I called back for clarification on this again. This time I was told the change has been made to my number and I would expect an e-mail confirmation, definitely not a phone call. The lady on the phone was totally dumbfounded as to why the first guy escalated this....

So is this resolved @Reed1812? What steps did you take to resolve it?

Yes. Got the below e-mail after a couple of days, clicked the link and verified my phone number. All sorted

Thank you for your inquiry dated January 18, 2023.
