Is it possible to do just weekly. Post results every Friday?

Due to time zone differences and delays in posting, scanners usually collect numbers the day after so we get numbers for Fri today.
Scanners are busy and sometimes the system doesn't co-operate so it can take awhile for them to come through. I'm waiting on Oct before posting now.

If you look in Oct/Nov/Dec threads on here a user posts weekly updates they ran themselves and they currently have a number just short of 1k. I believe they only Scan Oct-Nov though so don't count July+Aug+Sept.

I saw your spreadsheet being shared on one of the k1 visa groups on FB and wow, were people mad. I don't think they understand how it works 😭

Hey @AndiB I think I saw some posts from you in the big K1 group. Are you compiling a weekly list? I was going to start a Master thread with weekly totals but I dont want to step on toes if you already have something going like what I have here:

ah no please do! I'll keep the spreadsheet up but it's only weekly totals, not full breakdowns. Would be good to have a sanity check from you too. I won't post updates here then if you got it! 🙏

Wild people are saying it's inaccurate unless they think it's because it says 2023 filers.... Also someone saying it's not a good reflection cause USCIS does more than just K1.....yh but this is just about K1? PEOPLE 😭 Takes me back to my teaching days, the questions you get...

An admin said it was old data and only represented VJ members??? That USCIS processes way more than 966 a week??? Are they outta touch or am I? I thought scanners literally scan a range of numbers not specifically VJ cases???

I'm upset an admin was so wrong (unless I am)

This type of childish behavior was a major factor in me walking away from social media when I did. I got sick of adults behaving like children (not talking about you, but the reactions mentioned from said fb group).

I think you're right, and it would not be possible to know who's on VJ in any scan. The only argument I can see them making is that it's only I-129f filers, which should be obvious.

Thank you and everyone that takes the effort to compile the data. People that complain should run their own numbers and put forth an alternative instead of arguing without any substance.

I've found both FB groups and reddit threads to be wildly inaccurate. As much as I don't enjoy the negativity in the VJ foums, that's just the reality of the situation right now.

Honestly, this... One of the people in that group kept insisting that it's old even though it was explained to them it's not. So obstinate

There is no way it's just VJ people. That would be impossible to tell apart. Even USCIS Analysis on youtube has similar data

The admin isnt wrong. He was trying to say that USCIS processes way more than 966 a week when you account for other visas. Work, family, asylum, etc. But, who cares? Thats not what we as K1/CR1 fliers care about. We want to know how many I-129Fs are being processed because thata what we filed. Work visa speeds have no effect on us. And yes, when us scanners do the data mining its all I-129Fs.

Sorry it got locked. Its very frustrating!
