That's be my guess! Looks like with missing numbers + fri we could be at close to 1k for the week with as you say, about 700 removed from waitlist ahead of us

Actually now that I think about it, that wouldn't be the first wave because I was thinking about it in a scenario where they remove every single case before they get to October which won't happen. So first touch should be sooner than 67 weeks

I've been keeping approx track of backlog when I filed then subtracting how many have been removed (approvals, denials and withdrawals) since then dividing by ave processing speed (incl RFEs) to get an estimate. It'll be a bit optimistic but I don't think it'll end up too far off cause as you say it won't be exact anyway

I think I have about 47000 roughly in front of me and I'm a mid October 2022 filer. That's not including RFE etc. So in this scenario I think I would get my NOA2 in about 58 weeks? If I'm in the lucky few that are in the first wave. At worst I think it would be something like 70 weeks. Hoping for even better processing times ahead!

It was about 55,500 end Sept/start Oct and I think they've processed about 7,100 (not incl RFE up 20 Jan) so maybe closer to 48-49k. Really need the first quarter report to come out already 😫

I think your ETA is prob about 58 to place you in middle of the span they'll prob be doing so little earlier for first and little later for late 🤞

Yep, this is what I'm thinking too. I'm waiting for late spring/early summer to come so I can start thinking of things more in terms of months left and not "oof, I have a year left" and make myself feel a lil better lmao

Hi everyone, I'm also ok to help with data mining. 1 April 22 filer here; 300 days today! :)

is there  a way we can find out in slightly precise count, like within a 100 filers, in front of us?

I dont really see an excitement in january and february filers...

I think if someone had a scanner and your number they could get pretty close. They say the USCIS site is slow to update sometimes, so it might not be 100% but should be fairly close.

Well looks like early Jan wasn't a fluke! I'm missing a few and I don't expect Friday to be super busy but we're already at over 800 processed this week 🥰

I'll prob stick to weekend updates unless there's a big change in processing/ week (bad or good)

The bottom table is anything that wasn't an approval, denial or withdrawal. Usually RFE, RFER or Other (like name change) for anyone wanting to see how much is removed from waitlist.

My numbers are from the threads at visajourney or whatsapp groups for filers, I don't run any scans myself so thank you to everyone who has helped me 🙏

We do have quite a wide band at the moment though, they seem to be busy in Oct and Nov but with still decent focus on Aug and Sept. I have a friend who went through K1 during COVID and said this was usually done when they wanted to keep their processing time down, I assume they don't want their ave. to go upwards so have sped ahead a little and will probably drop back down to a 1-2month focus when thing equalise but they may also just maintain this wide spread until their numbers are more agreeable. The ramp up does mean the majority of us should get NOA2 when we anticipated approx or a lil earlier depending how realistic you were. I expected 15-18months for NOA2 with potential for 20-24months as Oct 22 filer. It looks like even with the wide spread, I should still be around the 15 mark if not a month or two earlier.

Edit: do take these numbers as approx. I'm usually multitasking and there may be minor errors but it's not going to be widely off

Thank you! I couldn't see message history and didn't want to be a bother as they were unlikely to be massive numbers.

Weekly total (minus Aug's data for thurs) is: 932

Weekly RFE/RFER/other: 307

Total removed from backlog this week so far: 625
Friday will probably put us as about 700-750 removed from backlog and ~1k processed

August was just posted. It's looking pretty likely that we might get a 800 week!
