Number of cases processed hit new high!

Not to jinx it, but if they do around 245 cases per day in May (average of the past 3 days), that should put May at around 5,600 cases since May has 23 business days. That's pretty dang awesome!

Edit: oops May has 22. Still amazing though! Almost 5,400

LOL! I feel that I thought I won't be with my fiance until end of summer 2024!! He was just here for a month, left today, I was super sad, but now seeing those numbers, I feel like I can be with him at around January! ❤️

I looked for Germany Embassy seems like appointsments are extremly fast, not much of a backlog for US/GER embassies :P So I think if we would actually get approved by October, I'd expect it around until Visa in hand around January, otherwise Feburary~ I hope the same for u!! It would be nice if we get approved at the same time :3

Yeah I'm hoping for visa in hand around xmas/new year but I have an appt and job that will take a few months to close down so I'll probably need 3 months after i have a visa before i travel.

If i end up left behind and wait longer than expected for visa I may try and speed it to a month to leave after visa but yeah 😂

I wasn't expecting to have to potentially leave this job before summer 2024 so may get a little messy on my projects

I just got a new job, so due that I am actually not that bound to this job, so it does make it quiet easier for me luckily, but I am sad it would take this long 😧 Can u do ur projects maybe when you are over there? (Home office / travel ? ) My job now offers home office only so I can actually finish all my projects at home and travel worst case scenario since it's a big company it makes it also nice that they have a site in America too >< maybe ur job has the same? TT That way could finish ur projects maybe? I do think with this speed , if they keep it up and they seem to improve every month a little bit, we prolly have our visa on hand by January! (Christmas seems so unbelievable but I would be SO happy!!!)

Careful, you cannot do ANY paid work in US on k1 until you have gc or ead. Even if paid for and hired in another country and working remotely so I'd advise you cut ties before you move.

My company has home work but due to above and fact I work for a defense company I'm generally needed on site to access data (it's not allowed off site). Not sure they'd be happy if I took any work with me while immigrating either even if US is an ally 😂

Honestly I could probably wrap up pretty quick and take leave etc but my apartment requires 3 months notice and I'll probably use the time to pack and see family etc. We'll see how I feel when the time comes. I wouldn't be able to afford a last minute flight anyway 💀

I talked with my work about this actually they said because sometimes a few projects take a while but we get paid in advance, I could finish it there but not get paid (IF I have smth left behind *cries*)  so Im trying my best to not let that happen :dead: but if it happens they do need me to be finishing those and I feel like even if I would not get paid anymore I feel like its my responsibilty to finish what I started TT

I feel that, I also have a 3 months notice, but luckily my rent is mega cheap it's only 360Euros *Germany has compared to US Idk about the UK* insaneeely cheap rent prices lol! And my apartment is so big me and fiance were fine and had plenty of space and my little kitten too! :P

I probably will just start paying now a bit more and pay in advance :3 My fiance luckily said he will take care of the flight since I need to bring my kitten and I am not letting my kitten stay in the bottom plane with other animals QQ She comes with me on my lab or under my seat haha!

My rent is 900 because I had to find a place while rent market was chaos 😭

I also have a lot of stuff to sort and I'm a procrastinator. I'll prob not do it until I have a flight booked because I'm terrible. I've also moved 16x+ so I just avoid packing as much as possible. Dreading it

It's true that not being able to work, even for a company abroad is a real pain in the butt.

Personally I'm very much hoping for an NOA2 this month so that I can hand in my resignation at the end of the month. Since I need to give a 3 month notice it works very well with the visa, and my job sucks so I can't wait 😅

Insure them on shipping or try and and take over on visits but then hold luggage is.. yh no.

We've shipped internationally 4x with zero issues. You can also ship via like UPS tracked or something to be extra safe

I cant wait anymore to not pay customs tho! Germany I always have to pay customs for my figures from japan and all that~ In America I never had to pay customs yet! XD

You'll obv have to check but you may be okay?? When i moved from outta EU into, they would charge customs on anything 'new' but if it's a personal item that you've owned for awhile it's usually not subject to customs.

You guys can check too, but I think the inquiry date got pushed back again. It used to tell me April 8 2024, now it says April 27.

Mine was August... now it's September 😢
I recently went to find out why the inquiry date doesn't really match the 16.5 months exactly and it was under my nose the whole time on the USCIS explanation page but it's because they "allow inquiries for cases that are taking longer than the time USCIS took to complete 93% of adjudications". Not 80%.

Going by my case/inquiry date, it's taking them 561 days for 93% of the cases to be processed. About 18 months. I have no words. I don't wish this wait on anyone.

I have been wondering though...I been seeing on FB people who are like from the 20th to the 30th (basically last 10 days) usually get stuck but now I also see day1 fillers being processed slower...really makes me wonder what is happening currently there HAS to be a factor that we don't know yet or?
