What's surprising to me is that it was 14.4 up until January, but it went up after they sped up. So bizarre 😂

maybe they're leaving too many in the 'tail'??

I think a lot are still getting theirs at abut 15-15.5months which could skew it even though some get it at 13-14

Thank you! It's interesting because if that's the case then they must have not followed it the first year as we can see here https://egov.uscis.gov/processing-times/historic-pt

I think this is due to the first part, where it only applies IF they are proposing fee increases. They weren't increasing fees last year, but they are now, so now it applies.

Quote

if USCIS publishes a Notice of Proposed Rulemaking or Final Rule that proposes or adopts any amendment to 8 C.F.R. 103.7(b), (October 1, 2020), that would impact fee levels ...

Right, but I thought it wouldn't matter because the median would just be out of 100 people the 50th. Wouldn't that have sped up enough that that number would now be lower? I don't get it 🤣😭 Maybe they haven't gotten to that point yet. Maybe the acceleration has touched something like the first 45%

When are fees being increased?

158 cases processed yesterday. Just 152 short of 1,000 this week 🙏🏾

Definitely will hit 1000 tomorrow! I was checking Lawfully too earlier today (though they don’t count withdrawals) and it seems they worked on a variety of old cases (even one from February 21). Unfortunately, from June and earlier it’s all denials but maybe they are also trying to get rid of some “ghost cases”.

Hoping we see a even better week next week to end this month with a HUGE count of cases completed!!

February 2022 I-129F K1 Case Status Spreadsheet can be found here.
NVC Timelines spreadsheet can be found here.
NOA1:
Feb 22nd, 2022 | NOA2: May 12th, 2023 (444 days) | NVC Received: July 3rd, 2023 (52 days) | Case number: Aug 2nd, 2023 (82 days) | In Transit: Aug 15th, 2023 (95 days)  | Ready: Aug 17th, 2023 | Medical: Sep 22nd, 2023 | Interview: Sep 26th, 2023

I’m praying for that too!! It’s nice to continue to see good numbers after all of the commotion yesterday with the 16.5 month estimate on USCIS!!

USCIS only trying to complete around 60% of the cases for each month to meet their 2023 goal...that means whoever is lucky will be in this 60% and whoever not (like me and most of the people for end of the Dec 2021)  would left behind. They are also increasing processing time so no one try to submit case inquiry! Of course we are seeing huge improvement on numbers but, those numbers don't present everyone's case...

Depends on what you mean by left behind. Dec is currently at 86% at 15-16 months. If you mean only 50-60% get a 'faster' processing time then fair.

Also sorry you're still waiting, it's not fair

December has roughly 15% untouched case + around 20% touched(RFE, RFER or pending) and 65% completed(includes approved, denied or rejected)

Technically December still have 35% left which is 1258 cases need to be decided.

This week around 120 December case completed, if this continue for future weeks, this will take almost 3 more months to complete all Dec .

All I'm saying is 60-70% of the case get a faster decision around 13-14 month and 30-40% of cases 17-18 months.

Well since there are only 377 cases until January reaches 65% completed, I'm curious to see whether they speed up February and January gets left behind as well soon. That would mean they start March soon after

If they keep doing that, they definitely hit their 6-8 months end of the year...for 60% 😕 but at the cost of the other 40-30% left behind being longer...I guess that's one way to hit their goal? Just not a fair one :(

Well what's interesting is that even for cases from August and September (and even earlier) there are people who still haven't responded to their RFE. I think some people just might take a long time to do on top of USCIS being slow. It is unfortunate though how they don't go in order.
