Before covid K1s were processed at more than one service center. I wonder if there are plans to get back to that situation. That could really help to crunch down the queue.

I doubt it. Every service centre has a high caseload so it may make a fractional difference but it's not like other centers have nothing to do waiting for new work to show up 😂

Also then you'd have the joy of maybe having drastically different times like spousal. Most people wait ages but there's one that goes fast and it's luck of the draw

They recently said they hired more staff and when you look at how spouse visa processing times are different between service centers, some load balancing might help and the desks of certain officers are not totally stacked with petitions. It would also tell whether they consider K1 as something important or just as "ouch, we have to process them, too".

Considering the K1 is like 1% or less and non-immigrant, I don't think we're a high priority and doubt we ever will be. Work and student will always trump us as they can directly say it helps boost the economy as US has a worker defecit. How do you brag about bringing in more potential spouses?

I imagine if going to multiple centres helped or was possible, they'd have done it as they do need to bring times down and have a goal to. They're not going to not do something that would help if it were that simple 🤔

Yes! Agreed. Let’s keep this thread alive. Let’s not kill it. Just talk about case processing news. Refrain from insulting/debating. The mods has the power to shut this thread down if it gets out of hand.

Anyone know why the spreadsheet hasn't been updating? 🧐

My best guess is whoever runs it has had their NOA2 and is now less motivated to keep it up daily. Very frustrating for my impatient self

That was my thought as well. Anyone here know how to make one?

you'd have to run the daily scans or at least use other people's posts to collate them. I am unsure how to run the scans but if you ask in one of the flier threads (I think the guy in Sept seems pretty on it) they can share their scripts.

Oh, I see. Do we know who keeps the original spreadsheet? Are they on the forum?
