My UK fiancee has moved since filing our application. I am struggling mightily to find out how to update her address on the USCIS site. I seem to be going in circles and can't see where to update it. The only thing I can find will only take a US address. Can anyone help?

It’s not necessary to update it now. She will get a chance to do so when you fill out a DS-160 at the consulate stage. What matters is the petitioner address at this point, not beneficiary’s.

I had a feeling maybe that was the case but wasn't certain. I just didn't want her to miss anything if it was being sent to her.

You’ll probably want to copy and save this information. It is London specific and a good order in which to do things.

When the petition is approved and the case  passes through NVC and arrives at the embassy in London, they will mail the beneficiary (her) instructions of how to proceed. She does not actually need this letter for anything, such as providing at her medical or interview. You the petitioner will receive will receive notification from the NVC when they are sending the case to London and the new case number starting with LND.  Then she can check CEAC status for arrival in London. When it says “ready” it means the case is in London and she can carry on with her part.

  1. Submit DS-160 (visa application) with her new address.
  2. Get documents gathered. Police certificate, birth certificate with parent names, your I-134 affidavit of support. There is a list on the London embassy website. https://uk.usembassy.gov/visas/fiancee-2/required-documents/
  3. Make a medical appointment. See clinic info for what you will need before the appointment. Make sure you will have all that in hand before the appointment date you choose. Clinic https://visamedicals.co.uk/united-states/
  4. Make Visa appointment allowing time for the medical results to be finalized and sent to the embassy. 10 days.after medical is good. Appointment (scroll down to the green part) https://ais.usvisa-info.com/en-gb/iv Note: Select “I have received a letter from the consular section with instructions to register or schedule a K visa appointment”; even though she won’t get the letter at her new address. It’s okay.
