We were DQ'd a few days ago.

How long did it take for notice of your interview date?

Also, we're assigned to Juarez even though my husband lives in Mexico City.  Strange and highly inconvenient.

Do i request a medical exam?

Do i request an interview date?

Thanks

As mentioned above, all CR1/IR1 applications in Mexico are processed at CDJ.  Doesn't matter where in Mexico your husband lives, he will have to travel to Juarez for his biometrics appointment and interview.  Check the thread below for updates from others waiting on an interview slot at CDJ --

All CR1/IR1 visa applications go through CDJ consulate. It does not matter where you live.

You can request a medical exam at one of three approved clinics in Mexico. You should do this only after you have received the interview date.

The consulate will let the NVC know when they are ready for your interview and the NVC will give you a date and time via email.

Follow the steps below once you receive an interview date:

How long did it take for you to receive notice of the interview date and then what was the time period between notice of the interview date and the interview itself?

I didn’t go through Mexico

The link I provided has timelines of all spousal visa applicants going through Juarez and it shows the date between Case completed at NVC and the interview date.

Hey good afternoon:

So my husband and I  received his interview date in email on 12/12/22 and the first interview was on 1/23/23. So you will have roughly 6 weeks to prepare for the trip to Juarez. Actually 5 weeks because you'll need to arrive at least a couple of days before to do the medical exam. Because the first interview date was on a Monday we arrived on Wednesday, 1/18 and he did his medical exam the next day. He picked up his results on Friday. The biometrics were done in his home city of Tijuana and the police certificate was still valid, so we didn't have to do that in Juarez.

Thanks so much for this information. When were you DQ'd?
