Transferred to Vermont

We just received notice today that our case was transferred to Vermont.  As the petitioner, I have never had any criminal activity other than a couple speeding tickets (eight years ago).  My job required background checks a few years ago and my landlord ran one on me a year ago, before I moved in.  I just completed a background check on myself to make sure there weren't any false flags, but nothing came up there either.  Our NOA 1 was received Oct 18, 2022, so only about 3 months ago.  Could this be a wave of transfers to load level between centers? Is it normal for cases to be "reviewed" and transferred so quickly?

Historically, transfers from CSC to VSC were due to certain criminal backgrounds (Adam Walsh Act crimes).  
 

If there is no chance of something like that in your background,  then perhaps they are finally trying to level-load the CSC cases.   If that’s the case, I’d expect lots of others here reporting the same.

Hi! Something similar happened to us.  We believe it's because there is a person with the same name that has criminal charges. Did you get any notice so far?
