Timeline

Hey Guys , I’m in NVC stage , so i wanna Ask you Guys about Proof of Us Domicile my Sponsor Send me his License Driver But he Has an Old Address on it , i have his Water bill with New address but it’s in Spanish So I’m Confused about what i can Use ! 

so Guys it’s fine if we Use the Driver licenses or i need to translate the water Bill to English and then i can use it 

 

Ps : Tax return & W2 Shows his new Address too

does he reside in the US?

Is tax return a US address?

 

Are u the USC or immigrant?

 

all documents need to be translated into English and both the spanish and english needed at interview

Why?

 

Did you get an RFE?  The address entered on the I-864 should be sufficient.  No "proof of domicile" should be needed.

Proof of domicile is needed for sponsors and joint sponsors.

Senior Master Sergeant, US Air Force- Retired (after 20+ years)- Missile Systems Maintenance & Titan 2 ICBM Launch Crew Duty (200+ Alert tours)

Registered Nurse- Retired- I practiced in the areas of Labor & Delivery, Home Health, Adolescent Psych, & Adult Psych.

IT Professional- Retired- Web Site Design, Hardware Maintenance, Compound Pharmacy Software Trainer, On-site go live support, Database Manager, App Designer.

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

when a USC or LPR moves ,  they have limited time to change address on DL/  the sponsor needs to do this 

But understand any documents submitted to NVC need the original at the interview and i doubt this person wants his DL in Moroc while he's drivng in US

so, i would suggest a different form of proof

That is odd (spanish water bill).  Dude must live near the Alamo.

 

Tax returns, bank statements, current paystubs usually do it?  Rare to hear about water bills and drivers licenses stapled to an I864.
