Hello,

I became a us citizen over a year ago. I was wondering how can I bring my parents to visit me ?

my parents don’t make enough money to qualify for a tourist visa to the USA and I was wondering how can I help them get a tourist visa to come see me here. I make good money and I was wondering if that can help them show it as proof to get approved for tourist visa?

Your parents will have to apply for tourist visas on their own, though you may certainly help them fill out their DS-160 application forms and pay for their MRV fees.  Not having strong ties to their home country, plus having a US citizen child makes it much closer to impossible for them to be approved for tourist visas, but too late to worry about that now.  If you have $160 x2 to spare, go ahead and have your parents apply.

There is no financial requirement for a tourist visa

Why would the fact that she's a U.S citizen make approval more difficult?

Because having a US citizen adult child is a very strong tie to the US -- a big negative for someone who needs to convince the interviewing officer that they only want to visit the US, not live there.

Because some parents of US citizens plan to come to the US via a tourist visa and apply to adjust status.  That is visa fraud.  Tourist visas are for visiting, then returning to home country.   Tourist visas are not immigrant visas.
