Hello Everyone!!

1. I just got all my documents approved on the https://ceac.state.gov/IV website. They are now setting an interview date. How long does it take on average... just an average.

2. I have no received any information about medical examinations for my mom... Are they going to email me about it? or how does it work?

Thanks!

You'll get info from the consulate on how to schedule the medical exam in your interview letter. There is no average for interview dates as it's very dependent on the consulate - some are only a couple of months after being DQ'ed, others are a couple of years. So it will depend on which consulate your mother will interview at, you can look at threads in the relevant forum for more info on how long it's taking there.

Good luck.

This thread is for January 2023 filers, you might want to ask a lovely mod to move it to the 2024 thread for you.

Unfortunately, you’ll just have to wait until they review your petition. What’s the estimated wait time? What service center has your petition?

most recent estimated time showing 3 weeks but last time it did the same and went on to taking longer than expected. Hope this time there is a decision. Nebraska Service Center.
