No updates to date. However, first parent NVC DQ. I am thinking it will continue to progress or wait until 2nd parent approves. Who knows i guess. :)

Depends on the consulate, for ours I'm expecting to wait around 2 months.

Get it from both countries, primary and where they used to live. I speaking from personal experience we were asked to provided a criminal record clearance from other country even it was 20 years ago.
