Were you able to see the RFE document online before you received it in the mail?

yes because i have a USCIS online account i used to track the I-130 cases. in the documents tab i saw the RFE before it was even received in mail. But I also tracked with lawfully APP. without it i wouldnt have know the check the documents tab in USCIS online. same with aPPROVAL - i was notified via LAWFULLY APP then i checked in USCIS online and saw approval notices in documents tab!

Like some of you, I also now see an approval letter in my account’s documents tab. It’s dated December 26th. I didn’t get any emails or texts.

I have two questions:

1) Do we now just wait for the NVC welcome letter or can we use the information on the I-130 approval to pay the fees and start uploading documents?
2) I believe this next stage is where we’ll be uploading tax transcripts. Do we also upload the police clearance certificates now, or is that at the interview stage?

Thank you and best of luck to those still waiting for I130 approval.

Wait for Welcome letter from NVC, wait for Invoice number from NVC

both are needed to pay the NVC fees starting here : https://ceac.state.gov/IV/Login.aspx

start preparing your documents for parents. Mine are filipino in UK so they need ACRO police certs and Nbi philippine clearance. and also yes tax transcripts - show you meet the income guidelines or if not prepare to have a co-sponsor.

I'm not sure why, but even though we received an RFE for my husband's parents on December 28, it hasn't been added to our USCIS account yet, making it impossible for us to at least know in advance what they're requesting. We now have to wait for it to arrive in the mailbox.
